A Word
About Custom Fabrication
We
sincerely appreciate the relationship
Garnett Sign Studio has been in the custom fabrication business
for over 60 years, serving our clients since 1946. The relationships
that we have with our Customers, as well as our Vendors and
Employees are our most cherished asset.
We believe
that communication throughout the process will help foster a strong
relationship and allow us to meet or, hopefully exceed your
expectations. The product that you purchase from us is not stocked on
a shelf in some warehouse. Typically, regardless of it being your
design or something we have designed for you, the finished sign
starts as a drawing on paper. Next, that drawing becomes a
"shop
drawing" or "submittal" that is presented to you, for approval by
signature, signifying that the design is ready for fabrication.
You should
take time to review every detail of the submittal. It's important to
realize that whatever the timing is that has been quoted to you for
fabrication (typically 4-6 weeks for most jobs), that time begins
once you have approved the submittal drawings. It's also important
to realize that once we have placed your approved drawings into production,
any changes will result in delays and possibly increase the cost.
Many times, we
work on construction projects (new or remodel) where our signs are
close to the last part of the entire project. While we don't like to
install finished signs at a construction site out of concern of
damage, we realize that many times certain signs are required for
your permits or Certificate of Occupancy. Please speak with your
Project Manager about how to avoid costly damage to your signs
and/or delays to your project.
Please take a
moment to review our Standard Terms & Conditions, which will help
insure we work together toward a successful project. We sincerely
hope that your initial contact with us is a first step in a long and
mutually rewarding relationship.
If at any
time you have any questions or concerns that are not answered to
your satisfaction by your Account or Project Manager,
please call me immediately. I can be reached at 650-871-9518 x237 in
the office or 925-984-3937 via cell phone.
Again, we
sincerely appreciate your business and your trust and look forward
to continued success!
Sincerely,
Mark Unterbach
